What I realized in 2013…

Posted on January 2, 2014

For most of 2013, I was going through internal struggles in deciding what I wanted to do with my life… What do I want to do? Where do I want to work? I always thought I wanted a corporate job at a big company but after SAP, I started thinking otherwise. Although it was hard to admit to myself and to others, “No, I’m not looking for a job. Yes, I’m working on my YouTube full-time.” eventually, I came to accept my decision of not going the conventional route and I’m really glad I did it.

So, last week, I cut up my YouTube t-shirt (a great gift from Darrell!) to symbolize what 2013 was about for me – exploring options I never thought were possible, doing what I wanted despite my worries, and just going for it! I’ve realized decisions aren’t permanent – you can always change things up if it doesn’t work out and there’s no harm in trying. I love my YouTube channel and I’m really glad I focused my energy into it to make it grow and expand last year.

With a new upload this week, I’m at:

50 videos!

80,000 subscribers!

13 million video views!

THANK YOU to everyone who encouraged me, supported me throughout the year and watched my videos. Watch out for exciting new projects coming up for Cut Up Tees in 2014!!
