Joining the AIESEC Canada NST Team!

Applying for and joining AIESEC Canada’s NST team was a great experience for me. I learned to work remotely with the AIESEC Canada in Toronto and I got to work on graphic design projects that were used nation-wide!

NST Member Qualities

  • Ambition with clear organizational drive and understanding
  • Practical management skills such as priority management, operational planning, performance tracking, team communication and empowerment
  • Facilitating and coaching skills
  • Trouble shooting skills

  • Availability for travel to LC’s or conferences
  • Extensive knowledge of and Salesforce

National Director for Communications

DATES OF TENURE: January 1st 2012-June 30th 2012.

TIME COMMITMENT: 6-12 hrs per week.


  • Coaching support for Local Committees
  • Update existing AIESEC Canada website or Blogger-hosted website (such as the Experience campaign)
  • Design promotional material for Exchange campaigns (posters, logo, etc) or various external promotional material
  • Create promotional and motivational videos to be distributed on our YouTube Channel
  • Update social media channels with current news and campaigns
  • Create and find existing content that can be used on social media to promote the global internship program (testimonials, etc)
  • Train local committees on updating their website
  • Train local committees on social media and monitor the existing channels to ensure quality of our brand
